What To Expect

This incredible tour starts form the Cathedral square where you will meet your knowledgeable and charismatic guide that will tell you through all about all about the sites of the Duomo Complex, one of Italy’s most important religious landmarks.

You will also learn how the Cupola was designed and built by Filippo Brunelleschi who won the competition for its commission in 1418.

Then you will enter inside the Baptistery’s of St. John (Battistero di San Giovanni) one of the oldest structures in Florence where you will admire its beautiful mosaics.

With your guide you will climb up to the top of the Cupola to enjoy spectacular view of Florence As you climb up you will see the Vasari beautiful frescos up close along the way you will stop at different stage to hear about its remarkable construction and hidden artworks.

After  that accompanied by your guide, you will head to the Opera del Duomo Museum  that houses original elements from the Duomo, The Baptistery and the Campanile. Here you will see the original bronze doors from the Baptistery such as artworks by Michelangelo and others.
