This amazing tour will show you Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti), the sumptuous residence of three royal dynasties that ruled Florence over the centuries, the Medici, the Lorraine and the Savoy families, and two Renaissance gardens, Boboli Garden and Bardini Garden, great examples of “giardino all’italiana” where literally Nature meets Art.
With a professional guide you will first visit the Palatine Gallery of Pitti Palace with the royal apartments and with the prestigious art collection of paintings by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio and Rubens, mostly belonged to the Medici family.
Then you will enjoy a peaceful stroll in Boboli garden, surrounded by grottos, flowers, statues, fountains…. perfect spot to relax and to know hidden stories of the Medici family that bought this garden in 1569, transforming the old quarries of pietra forte in an amazing garden “museum”.
From there you will reach at last Bardini garden where you can enjoy unexpected views of Florence, surrounded by secular trees, roses or even wisterias in bloom in May or just taking a cup of a delicious Italian coffee.
