An event not to be missed.

Andrea del Verrocchio is considered one of the major artists from the Renaissance period and only Giotto, Donatello e Raffaello were comparable.

In this golden period of Italian art many works were realised that are now part of history such as the sculpture of “David” and “Putto con Delfino” and paintings like “Madonna col Bambino” and “Madonna col Bambino e angeli e l’Arcangelo Raffaele e Tobiolo” all demonstrating extraordinary artistic versatility.

Verrocchio left an indelible impression on Italian art and artists from this period and his influence was paramount in the development of the eclectic Leonardo da Vinci.
